Lift heavy things and move a lot.
That is really what it boils down to. If you do those two things, your physical activity level will be exactly what evolution intended it to be.
But in this day and age, many of us have to seek out and find the “moving” and “lifting” that will fit into our lives. Not to mention activites that are engaging enough to make us want to keep doing them.
